Author: John le Carré Title: Agent Running in the Field Publisher: Viking, London Year: 2019

A superb signed first edition, first printing of John le Carré's late-career espionage novel Agent Running in the Field, published by Viking in 2019. A veteran British intelligence officer nearing retirement is drawn into a dangerous covert operation after uncovering a colleague's secret ties to Russia, exposing shifting loyalties and the moral ambiguities of modern espionage in a post-‘Cold War world.

This copy is flat-signed by the author directly to the title page, without inscription. The book and dust jacket are in fine, as-new condition, with sharp corners, clean boards, and no marks or defects. The original unclipped dust jacket (£20.00) is bright and unfaded, retaining the publisher's "Signed Copy" sticker to the front panel, as issued.

A particularly desirable modern le Carré collectible, published shortly before the author's death in December 2020, and increasingly sought after by collectors assembling signed first editions of his later works.
