LAST CHANCE TO SEE Douglas Adams & Mark Carwardine

London: William Heinemann Ltd, 1990. First Edition, First Impression.

Hardback. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Complete with original unclipped dust jacket. Illustrated with colour photographic plates.

A very good copy of the true UK first edition of Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine's celebrated account of their journeys around the world in search of some of the planet's most endangered species. The book grew out of the acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series and combines Adams' trademark wit with an important conservation message.

Book is in very good condition throughout, with light age toning to page edges and minor signs of handling. Binding remains firm and square. No inscriptions, bookplates or ownership markings. Dust jacket is unclipped and also in very good condition, showing only minor shelf wear and light rubbing to extremities.

A clean, attractive example of an increasingly sought-after Douglas Adams first edition.
