A charming blend of ballet school fiction and mystery from one of the best-known authors of mid-century British girls' school stories.
Scarcity: Copies of The Ballet School Mystery are increasingly difficult to locate in collectible condition. Many surviving examples were heavily read by their young owners, and copies retaining the original dust jacket are considerably less common than jacketless examples encountered on the market. The 1959 Hutchinson edition appears infrequently in the trade, particularly in very good overall condition with an intact jacket. Comparable copies are seldom offered by specialist children's book dealers.
