Summary The Minpins follows a young, adventurous boy named Little Billy, who defies his mother's strict warnings and enters the forbidden, mysterious Forest of Sin. There, he is instantly chased by the terrifying, smoke-belching monster known as the Red-Hot Smoke-Belching Gruncher. To escape, Billy climbs an enormous tree and discovers a secret, miniature civilization of tiny tree-dwelling people called the Minpins. Realising his new friends live in constant fear of the beast, Billy bravely teams up with a majestic swan to outsmart and defeat the monster once and for all.
