Summary
The Way Through the Woods follows Inspector Morse and Sergeant Lewis as they investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young Swedish tourist in Oxfordshire, a year after she went missing. Prompted by an anonymous poem sent to The Times, the duo re-examines the original investigation and delves into a complex web of blackmail, pornography, and murder centred around Wytham Woods. As Morse decodes the literary clues, he must untangle a series of deceptive identities and dark secrets before the killer can strike again.
